U-1 a ', o any under terms of this ordi nance, be 'ore they ey S-1 vi,- work intended to be conl'iected witii or to the sanitary sewers, shell file in the office of the City Clerk a petition giving the name of -10-1-le individual, or if a, fir�Ia or corporation, the n,),-,,.qes of every -c',erson connected with h such copartnership, asking to be registered as plumbing contractors, and shall execute and deliver to pile City of Wichita a. bond in the sizil of One 'Thousand (,'l, C)00. 00') Dollars, payable to the City of `7ic1­iita Falls and as herein otnerwise provided for, with good and sufficient sureties thereon, one of whom, shall be an a.-prrjved surety company, which said bond shall be conditioned as follows: Bond. shall be conditioned that—ll plumbing shall be done so that it shall conform with the rules and regula- tions provided by this 'Ordinance and all Ordinances that U -4 -y of 7lic.aita Falls may be hereafter loassed and Chet t1',e U I U be fully indemnified against all loss of damage occasioned D �D by the negligence the -principal therein in ff'&_Jlin prop- erly to execute and -protect any work done by him or his employees or under his direction and supervision, and the said bon._+. shall be furtil,,r conditioned that it shall be the duty of the said --erso-a, firm or corporation carrying on any such plumbincr business to replace in a -ood and work- mazilike manner and .-estore any portion of any street or alley 'Mirlicl-L may be opened for the puri)ose of making any con-l'iection with a;lny w,ater, pipe; and all .1 server or gas such openings or excavations shall be refilled or restored and street or alley placed in as good condition as it ex— isted before such excavation. was .node. slat in case any opening or excavation in any street or alley is not re— stordd as herein provided, to the satisfaction of the City Engineer, it shall be t:`he duty of any such person, firm or cor-c)oration doing- the said work to promptly restore tine same upon notice fron the Engineer, and after such notice from the Engineer if same be not -restored within a reason— able time, and five days shall be deemed a reasonable time, for the commencement of tine work, the Engineer shall report such facts to the Board of xlder:nnen and the street or alley be repaired at the cost of the Gerson, "irm, or corporation making such excavation;, and tile staterlent of the cost as furnished by the City engineer shall be conclusive evidence against said person, firm or corocu ation responsible for said excavation. That said bond shall be further conditioned that all persons, firms, corporations engaged in the plumbing business shall do all plumbing in houses and on ;)remises within the city limits of -Wichita Falls, so that such plumb— ing shall conform to the rules and regulations provided by this ordinance and all ordinances that •rnav be hereafter passed; and in case any person, fir: or co-r--oration so en— gaged in the plumbing business shLa_L i fail or ref, se to install or construct anv plumbinc, in accordance wit_" such rules and regulations the owner of any suc-rn house or prem— ises, who may be aggrieved or injured Hereby may have recourse on said bond; provided that in such case, s,ach work is first disappooved by the Inspector of Plumbing as herein provided.
