AN ORDINANCE MAKING AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION OUT OF THE UNr— APPROPRIATED BALANCE OF CITY REVENUES AT APRIL FIRST, 1928, FOR THE SUPPORT OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING APRIL FIRST, 1928, and ENDING MARCH 31st, 1929, Ali- ­ DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, there remains on hand an unappropriated balance of revenues for the cu�rent fiscal ycax , and whereas, the several items hereinafter mentioned were not provided for in the general appropriation Ordinance; Now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS: SECTION 1: That the sum of SIXTEEN THOUSAND, FOUR HUNDRED TWENTY—FIVE & S5/100 ( $16,i4.25.85 ) DOLLARS, be, and the same is hereby appropriated out. of the unappropriated balance of City revenues for the current fiscal year to pay the fol— lowinlr items: Balance due the Pittsburgh—De Moines Steel Company on Water TowerAmount due due Mrs. C. Montgomery for water lines constructed by her under reimbursement contract to City 1, 842.94 Airport Equipment and Operation Expense to October lst 300. 00 _ r To cover payment of waterworkd bonds due November 1st , 1928, as follows: Refunding Series C—Bond Nos.13 & 14 2, 000. 00 If u 0-1 - Bond No, 3 1) 000. 00 Salary of Stenographer for Purchasing Agent - J months at $80. 00 per month Wono Total $16 425.95 SECTION 2: The fact that no appropriation has been made for the payment of the above items,and the further fact that the same are now past due and payable, creates an emer- >_" gency requiring the suspension of the rule that ordinances be read on three separate days, and such rule is hereby suspended, and this ordinance is hereby declar, d an emergency measure and - shall take effect immediately after its passage and approval. 1____ PASSED AND APPROVED this ±Q4 day of November, A.
