AN ORDINANCE CE MAKIXO AN ADDITIKAL APPROPRIATION OUT OF THE
UNAPPROPRIATED BALANCE OF CITY REVENUES AT APRIL FIRST, 1928,
FOR THE PURPOSE OF THE CITY GOVLRHH.E::jT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
BEGINNING APRIL FIRST, 1920, AND ENDING MARCH 31st 1929
AND DECLARING AN EHERGESuCY. -
WHEREAS, there remains on hand an unappropriated
balance of revenues for the current fiscal year, and whereas,
: the several items hereinafter mentioned were not provided
,for in the general appropriation Ordinance; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD , F ALDE1MEH OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1: That the sum of TWENTY SEVEN HUNDRED
& 65/100 ( 2700.6j5 DOLLARS, be, and the same is hereby
appropriated out of the unappropriated balance of City reve-
nues for the current fiscal year, to pay the following
it ems:
For License Refund to Plumbers---- $200.65
Legal and Printing Expenses on
Refunding Bond$ Series 2, as
per contract ------------------ 200. 00
Total $2700.65
SECTION 2: The fact that no appropriation has been
made for the payment of the above items, ,and the further fact
that the same are now past due and payable, creates an emer-
gency requiring the suspension of the rule that ordinances be
read on three separate days, and such rule is hereby suspended,
and this ordinance is hereby declared an emergency measure and
shall take effect fmmmdiately after its passage and approval.
