ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 7 OF ORDINANCE
NUMBER 511, PROVIDING THAT THE CITY ENGINEER INSTEAD OF
THE CITY CLERK SHALL ISSUE PBETITS FOR THE REIMOVAL OF BUILD-
INGS, ETC. , SAID CRDINABCE NUMBER 511 BEING ENTITLED: "AN
ORDINANCE TO REGULATE THE CONSTRUCTION, ALTERATION MAINTE-
NANCE, REPAIR, AND REMOVAL OF BUILDi' GS WITHIN THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS , TEXAS, AND PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR VIOL:A,TION. "
SAME HAVING BEEN PASSED AND APPROVED OI`4 THE 19th DAy OF MAY,
A. D. 1924.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION ONE.
That Section 7, of Ordinance No. 11, passed
and approved on the 19th day of May, A. D. 192�, be, and
the same is hereby amended so as to hereafter read as
follows, to-wit:
" Section 7: No House, building or structure
of any kind shall be removed until a permit has been ob-
tained from the City Engineer under the terms and condi-
tions of Ordinance No. 284, passed and approved July
1920, and that said City Engineer shall not issue such permit,
if, in the opinion of the Building Inspector, the propose,
new location would seriously increase the fire hazard of the
surrounding buildings. "
