ORD 19ANCE NO.
AN HRDINANCE MAKING AN ADDITIONAL: APPROPRIATION
OUT OF THE UNAPPROPRIATED BALANCE OF CITY REVENUES AT
APRIL 1ST9 1929 , FOR THE PURPOSE OF MAINTAINING AND
OPERATING THE CITY GOVERMENT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGIN-
NING APRIL 1ST, 1929, AND ENDING MARCH 31ST, 19309 AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, there remains on hand an unappropriated
balance of revenues for the current fiscal year, and,
whereas, there was not sufficient funds
appropriated in the general appropriation ordinance for
the payment of the dump keepers salary and for the pur-
chase of a truck for the Park Dep artment .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD
OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1: That thisum of One Thousandt'�relve
Dollars and Thirty Cents ($1, 2.30) be, and the saute is
hereby appropriated out of the unappropriated balance of
the City Revenues for the current fiscal year to pay the
balance of the dump keepers salary at the rate of $100.00
per month from July 1,, 1929, to March 31, 1930, amounting
to $540.00, and to pay the cost of a truck for the Park
Department, amounting to $672.30.
SECTION 2: The fact that no appropriation has
been made for the payment cry' the above items, and the
fact that the same is now past due and payable, creates
an emergency requiring the suspension of the rule that
ordinance be read on three separate days, and such rule
is hereby suspended and this ordinance shall hereby be
declared an emergency measure and shall take effect
immediately of ter its passage and approval.
