UNAPPROPRIATED BALANCE OF CI' 'Y REVE1019S AT APRIL FIRST ,
19309 FOR THE PURPOSE OF PAYIN"'X THE SALARY OF AN ADDITIONA
AL WATCHMAN IA THE POLICE DEPARTMENT FOR ELEVEN MONTHS ,
BEGINNING MAY FIRST 1930 , Ai D EIZING MARCH THIRTY-FIRST,
1931, AND DECLARING A1v MIERGENCY.
1,THEREAS, there remains on hand an unappropriated
balance of revenues for the current fiscal year, and,
whereas, it is found advisable to provide for the payment
of an additional watchman in the police department for the
eleven months remaining of the fiscal year;

ALDEFUTIEid OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS:
SECTION 1.
That the sum of 825.uu be, and the same is hereby
appropriated out of the unappropriated balance of the
general fund of the city revenues for the current fiscal
year to pay the salary of one additional watchman for the
police department of the City of 7,11,lichita i`alls, Texas, be-
ginning May lst , 1930, and ending March 31st, 1931.
SECTION 2.
The fact that no appropriation has been made for
the payment of the above item creates an emergency re-
quiring the suspension of the rule that ordinances be read
on three separate days, and such rule is hereby suspended,
and this ordinance is hereby declared an emergency measure
and shall take effect immediately after its ;3assage and
approval.
