meetings, at which time tie newly elected ald..ormen shall
assume the duties of office , Thereafter the Board of Alder-
men shall meet at suc - time and place as may be prescribed
by ordinance, but nbt less frequently than once eacrl month.
Special meetings may be called by the mayor and shall be
called by the City Cler',_ upon t_.iC written request of three
aldermen or the City unager. All me,�tin"s of the Board. of
Aid.ermpn, and of committees tner0of, except as hereinafter
provided, be op n to the public and the Bo_j.rd. shall
provide by its rules that citizens shall have an opportunity

feat such lien, buttne assessor and collector of taxes can pur-
sue such property and whenever found_ may seize and sell enough
tnereof to satisfy sucn taxes, or the City may enforce and
foreclose said liens, by suit or otherwise, in any court having
jurisdiction, and may cause all or any part of such property
to be sold to satisfy sucn taxes.
Toe Board of Aldermen A: from time to time, by
ordinance provide that, all taxes to the City of Wicnita, Falls
for the year 19-0, and/or any subsequent year or years, may be
paid in equal installments, but in no event to exceed four such
installments , and may fix the tunes when such installments shall
become due and payable, and may provide tint failure to pay any
one or more of sucn installments when due st l.i render all of the
unpaid balance of such taxes delinquent, and the penalty accrued
thereon and may provide the time when and the circumstances under
-which tna penalty on all sucn taxes shall accrue thereon, and, may
fix the time when toe interest on sucn taxes or unpaid balance
shall commence to run but the rate of such interest shall never
exceed six per cent per annum.
Upon toe adoption of sucn ordinance or ordinances
the time of payment and the like therein, shall supersede and
take the place of the aforesaid provisions of this section appli—
cable thereto.
This amendment snall not affect the validity of
any taxes levied and assessed for tine year 1930 and prior years.
