'THER AS, City of Wichita. Falls heretofore determined by
paving assessment ordinance 1',Ic). 926, passed on tn�3 first day

Street from its in-tersec.,ion with the Soucn prop:?rty line of
Tnirteenth Street to its intersection �vit n the liortn properly
line of Fourteens:, Street be paved in accordance with the con-
tract entered into between said city and Fuiler Construction
Company, zne successful bidders fo the construction of such
improvements in accordance wizn tn,e law and charter provisions
of said city applicable tPLereto and in accordance wiLn the
specifications prepared therefor by the tits engineer; and,
THTEREAS, since the passa e of said assessment ordi-
nance and tn(e fixing of ti"1� Iien acainsu the pro-Jerzy snown
on the assessment sneet made a part thereof, it has become
impossible to rave a. ia improve saia portion of said street in
accordance :sritii the plans prepared therefor; and,
WHEREAS, said )rdina.nce casts a. cloud upon the title
to tine property aour,tinr on tna portion of bluff Street and
makes it advisable to repeal and se-6 aside tre above numbered
ordinance, and that the effect of said ordinance sria!1 be re-
moved and. repealed as a gainst said pro,:)erty and as against the
respective owners tnereof;
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDER14EN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
SEDTION 1.
That the said ordinance No. 925 be , and the same is
hereby expressly repealed witn respect to all of the property
abutting upon that pofzion of Blunt' Street from its intersection
witn trie Soutn property line of Thirteenth Street to its inter-
section wizri the i�orzn property line of Fourteentn Street in
said City, and the assessment made agadnsz eacn of tiie owners
of said property as described by said ordinance and a_8sessmen7,
sheet and a=rainst said property, is expressly set aside and any
cloud, lien or assessment cast or purported to be cast or fixed
against said property and cnarg-ed agains1- Said. owners is heresy
expressly removed,vacated and neid to be of no force and effect
against said persons and said respective properties named and
described in said. ordinance Ao. 926.

Tht� fast that said ordinance casts a cloud upon the
title of said property and may hinder or delay the sale of said

the rule that ordinances be read on three several days is hereby
suspended and tn _s ordinance is passed as an emergency measure
and shall take erect imrediazely upon its passage and approval,
