BE IT ORDAINED BY THE 80ARD OF ALDER,rEN OF THE CITY OF
INIChi'iA PALLS , TEXAS: -
SECTION 1.
Tnat the City Manager of the City of Wicnita Fads, i'exas,
is nereby designated and appointed as custodian of the Memorial
Auditorium and buiidi=ig belonging to the City of Wicnita Fall:,
Texas.
SECTION 2.
That said custodian is hereby authorized to appoint and
employ such agents, servants and employees as may be necessary
to aid and assist him in carrying out nip duties as sucn custo-
dian.
SECT:.
3.
That the custodian is hereby autnorized, and it is made
his special duty to supervise and manage sucn Memorial Audito-
riurn and building and tie is hereby given complete authority to
rent the Auditorium in said building and collect rent therefor
ac corai ng to the f of l owing scneduie .

The Auditorium to furnisn the following services if, and
wnen, necessary:
Tickets
Ligcits
Heat
Janitor Service
For any use not mentioned herein, the rate shall be
fixed by the Custodian
SECT a 4.
All the rental contracts for said Auditorium shall be
made trlrougn the City Clerk 's office, and a public record
tnereof kept in a book provided for that purpose in said office,
whicn said record snali snow the name of the lessee, the date
of the execution of sucn lease, the use to which auditorium is
to be put and the day and date of such use. Tne persons rent-
ing or leasing the said auditorium shall be required to deposit
witn the City Clerk fifty (50 ) percentum of the scnedule cnarge
for the time same is to be used oefore said auditorium is leas-
ed for any particular day or date and the balance of sucn reni-
al snail be paid before the auditorium is used. In the event
such lease contract is cancelled by the lesse.e.Un c asn payment
of one-half rental price stiall be forfeited to the City as liq-
uidated &&ages .
SECTION 5.
Tnat all funds shall be collected by the City Clerk and
deposited in the general fund of the City of Ifficnita. Falls,
Texas.

Ordinances No. 939, 969 and ali other ordinances con-
flicting herewith are hereby repealed.
The fact that the present rates being charged for the
use of the Memorial Auditorium are excessive and it is nec-
essary that the rates be immediately reduced, creates an emer-
gency; and the rule requiring the reading of ordinance.' on
three several days is neroby suspended and this ordinance sna11
take effect immedia.t iy upon its passage and approval.
