ARE PAID ON OR AFTER DECELIBER 29, 1931, LND ON OR BEFORE, JAN-
UARY 31 , 1932, AND DECLLRING AN EUIERGENCY:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERI'i%N OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That all interest and penalties accrued and as now fixed by
law on all taxes due the City of Wichita. Falls, delinquent up
to and including December 29, 1931, shall be and the same are
hereby released and remitted provided said taxes are paid on or
after December 29, 1931 , and on or before January 31, 1932.
SECTION 2.
The fact that penalties and interest on all other taxes
due State , County, School Districts, and other sub-divisions of
the State have been remitted by an Act of the Legislature and
that such lwa has recently been held constitutional by the Su-
preire Coulft of Te.,as creates an emergency; and the rule requir-
ing ordinances to be read on three several days is hereby sus-
pended and this ordinance is declared an emergency ordinance
and shall take effect from and after its passage and aproval
and it is so ordained.
