Ord 1086 1/18/1932 ORDINANCE 110. y AN O-11 INANCE MAKI-NG AN ADDITIONAL AP_-'ROPRIATION FOR THE FIS- CAL YEAR ENDING MARCH 31, 1932, FROM THE GENERAL FUND, BEING TWO THOUSkND SIX HUNDRED AND FIFT 3H ($2615.00) DOLITARS FOR THE GEN- RAL HOSPITAL FOR CHARITY PATIENTS AND FOR REPLACING BOILER AND FOUR THOUSAND ( 4,000.00) DOLLARS FOR TIE TAX DEPARMENT TO RE- FUND PENALTI.F,S AND INTEREST ON DELINQUENT TAXZS PAID TO THE CITY ON AiiD AFTER OCTOBER 1 , 1931, TO DECEMER 29, 1931 , AND DECLAR- ING AN EMRGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDER N OF THE CITY OF 'JICHITA FALLS, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the sum of Two Thousand Six Hundred and Fifteen Dol- lars ($2615.00) be and the same is hereby appropriated out of the unappropriated balance of the general fund for the year end- ing march 31, 1932, to be paid to the General Hospital for char- ity patients and to pay the City's one-half O for replacing the boiler in said hospital. SECTION 2. That the sum of Four Thousand ($4,000.00) Dollars be and the same is hereby appropriated out of the unappropriated bal- ance of the general fund for the fiscal year ending +arch 31, 1932, to be used by the Tax Department in refunding penalties and interest paid to the City on delinquent taxes on and after October 1, 1931 to December 29, 1931. SECTION 3. The fact that no appropriation has heretofore been made cov ring the above items, and the fact that the hospital is bad- ly in need of funds at this time to meet the obligations mention- ed above, and the further fact that penalties and interest paid to the City on and after October 1, 1931 to December 29, 1931, should be refunded to persons paying same, without delay, creates an emergenc ; and the rule requiring the reading of Ordinances on three (3� several days is hereby suspended; and this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and ap L.roval.
