SECTION, 1.
That Section 2 of Ordinance No. 986, passed and approved on
the 18th day of June , ii.D. 1928, be and the same is hereby amended
so as to hereafter read as follows , to-wit :
SE0TION_2. " That the .-cords "Itinerant Vendor" shall be con-
strued to mean and include all y)ersons, firms , corporations or
t�_eir aEonts , who engage in temporary or transient business in the
Cit,, of Vlicilita 2cells sellin`; goods, w--res or merchandise and in-
cluding photographers and who for the purpose of carrying on such
business , '_tires , leases or occupies any room, building or structure
for the exhibition or sale of such goods , flares or merchandise or
photographs-.
Any vendor or photographer who does not intend in food faith
to engage in said business for a period of at least six--unths in
the City of `Jichita Falls, Texas, shall be deemed to be coridt cti.ng
a temporary or transient business and no person, sirm, or corporation
so engaged shall be relieved from the provisions of this ordinance
by reason of being temporarily associated rith any local dealer,
trader, merchant , photographer; or auctioneer or by conducting such
temporary or transient business in connection y:ith or as a part of
any local dealer, trader, merchant� or aactioneer. 11
ACTION 2.
The fact that temporary and transient photographers have in the
past and are at present soliciting and doing business in the City
of 4Tichita. Falls detrimental to such permanent business in the City
creates an emergency, and the rule reci-airing the reading of ordi-
nances on three several days is hereby' suspended and this Ordinance
is declared to be an emergency measu4 and shall tale effect from
and after its passage and approval .
