That it shall hereafter be unlawful for any person to ride upon the bumper, fender, runninJ board, hood, on the front , on the rear, or on the top of any automobile while same is bein` driven and operated upon the streets and alleys of the City of 'vVicinita Falls , Texas . SE CT I ON 2. That it shall be unlawful for any person driving and operat- ing an automobile upon the streets and alloys of the City' of ` ichita Falls , Texas , to allow or permit any person to ride upon the bumper, fender, running board, hood, on the front , rear, or on the top of an automobile while same is being; driven and op- erated_ upon the streets and alleys of the City of 'Vichita. galls , Texas. SECTION 3. That any person violating any provision of this Ordinance shall upon conviction in the Corporate Court be fined in any sum not more than Two Hundred ($200.00) Dollars . SECTION 4. The fact that many persons are now riding upon the outside of automobiles and such practice is not only dangerous to such per- sons but to the public creates an emergency, and the rule requir- ing the reading of Ordinances on three several days is hereby sus- pended and this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage and approval, and publication one time , as provided by law.
