AN ORDINANCE MAKING ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION OUT OF THE
UNAPPROPRIATED BALANCE AT THE BEGINNING OF THE FISCAL YEAR FOR THE
SUPPORT OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING APRIL
19 19339 AND ENDING MARCH 31$ 19349 AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, there was on hand at the beginning of the fiscal

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY 'IHE BOARD OF AIDERvTIlV OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS:
SECTION 1. That the sum of $10,324.95 is hereby appropriated
out of the General Fund for the current fiscal year to pay the fol-
lowing accounts:

SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated out of the Street
Fund the sum of 38,865.00 to co ver the f ollowi ng items :

SECTION 3. There is hereby appropriated out of the Park
Fund the sum of $4,340.00 to cover the following items of expense:
- Extra tools for CWA workers 11#000.00

60 - Extra labor for Park Department 100.00
60 - Park building repairs 740 .00
n 60 - Medical examination of CWA workers 1. 4000

SECTION 4. There is hereby appropriated out of the accumu-
lated Sinking Funds of term bonds a sum of 13,920.00 to cover cost of
$27,000.00 par value bonds purchased as an investment for the sinking
funds.
SECTION 5. The fact that the above expenditures are neces-
sary for the unemployment relief program being carried on by the
Federal Government in cooperation with the City government creates an
emergency requiring tka't suspension of the rules rewiring that ordi-
nances be read on three zzpxxlK separate days and such rules are
hereby suspended and this ordinance is hereby declared an emergency
measure and shall take effect immediately after its passage and
approval.
