ORDINANCE AMENDING THE THOROUGHFARE PLAN
CLASSIFICATION OF PROFESSIONAL DRIVE AND PORTIONS OF
RATHGEBER ROAD AND CRESTVIEW MEMORIAL ROAD FROM
MAJOR COLLECTOR TO MINOR COLLECTOR; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended amending
the Thoroughfare Plan classification of Professional Drive and portions of Rathgeber
Road and Crestview Memorial Road from Major Collector to Minor Collector; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, deems that the
proposed amendment to the Thoroughfare Plan, will be in the public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The Thoroughfare Plan, an element of the Comprehensive Plan for
the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, is hereby amended for Professional Drive and portions
of Rathgeber Road and Crestview Memorial Road. The classification of said streets
shall be changed from Major Collector to Minor Collector as shown on the attached
map, incorporated in this ordinance as Attachment "A."
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
