ORDINANCE MAKING AN APPROPRIATION IN THE AMOUNT OF
$4,999 TO THE SPECIAL REVENUE FUND FOR ADDITIONAL GRANT
REVENUE RECEIVED FROM THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ACCEPT SAME;
FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has received approval for additional grant
funds from the Texas Department of Health, and
WHEREAS, the Wichita Falls- Wichita County Public Health District and the
Texas Department of Health desire to enter into a contract for certain public health
services; and
WHEREAS, the approval of these funds could not have been anticipated prior to
the adoption of the 2000 -2001 Budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1. There is hereby appropriated to the Special Revenue Fund the
amount of $4,999 for the Innovation Grant and the City Manager is authorized to accept
these funds from the Texas Department of Health for the Wichita Falls- Wichita County
Public Health District.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
