ORDINANCE MAKING AN APPROPRIATION IN THE GENERAL FUND
AND AUTHORIZING PAYMENT OF $10,331 TO TXU CITIES STANDING
STEERING COMMITTEE FOR CONTINUED PARTICIPATION WITH
SUCH COMMITTEE; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO
THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City has been a member of the TXU Cities Standing Steering
Committee, which committee participates in electric rate cases and other regulatory
issues affecting ratepayers within the City; and
WHEREAS, such committee has been successful in saving electric ratepayers
millions of dollars through its participation in these matters; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable to continue the City of Wichita Falls' representation in
this committee through the approval of the appropriation of $10,331 to fund the City's
fee assessment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the sum of $10,331 is hereby appropriated in the General
Fund to be made payable to the TXU Cities Standing Steering Committee for the
purpose of maintaining the City of Wichita Falls' representation on said committee, and
full participation in electric regulatory matters affecting both the City and its ratepayers.
SECTION 2. That it is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.

CONSTRUCTION AND REFUNDING BONDS, SERIES 2001; APPROVING
AND AUTHORIZING AN OFFICIAL STATEMENT AND THE
DISTRIBUTION THEREOF, A BOND PURCHASE AGREEMENT, AND A
PAYING AGENT/REGISTRAR AGREEMENT; APPROVING AND
AUTHORIZING ALL OTHER INSTRUMENTS AND PROCEDURES
RELATED THERETO; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY; AND PROVIDING
FOR AN IMMEDIATE EFFECTIVE DATE
was duly introduced for the consideration of said Council. It was then duly moved and seconded that
said Ordinance be passed; and, after due discussion, said motion, carrying with it the passage of said

2. A true, full and correct copy of the aforesaid Ordinance passed at the Meeting described
in the above and foregoing paragraph is attached to and follows this Certificate; said Ordinance has
been duly recorded in said Council's minutes of said Meeting; the above and foregoing paragraph is
a true, full and correct excerpt from said Council's minutes of said Meeting pertaining to the passage
of said Ordinance; the persons named in the above and foregoing paragraph are the duly chosen,
qualified and acting officers and members of said Council as indicated therein; each of the officers and
members of said Council was duly and sufficiently notified officially and personally, in advance, of
the time, place and purpose of the aforesaid Meeting, and that said Ordinance would be introduced
and considered for passage at said Meeting, and each of said officers and members consented, in
advance, to the holding of said Meeting for such purpose, and said Meeting was open to the public

signing of the attached and following copy of said Ordinance for all purposes.
4. That the Ordinance has not been modified, amended or repealed and is in full force and
effect on and as of the date hereof.
