ORDINANCE APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE PROPOSED USE
OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) FUNDS IN A
PREVIOUSLY APPROVED CONSOLIDATED PLAN; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls administers the Community Development
Block Grant Program; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a Public Hearing to receive citizen input and
the City Manager and staff have recommended this amendment; and
WHEREAS, during a Public Hearing, the full City Council has reviewed the
recommended amendment and approves the project in the Action Plan to the
Consolidated Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Council of Wichita Falls, Texas hereby approves and
adopts amendments to the Action Plan to the Consolidated Plan for the period
October 1, 2000 to September 30, 2001.
SECTION 2. The City Council authorizes the City Manager to execute any and
all contracts to implement the amendment.
SECTION 3. The Director of Finance is hereby authorized to transfer funds in
the amount of $100,000 from account 204 - 6871 -75280 to 204 -6815 and $50,000 from
account 204 - 6871 -75280 to account 204 -6814.
SECTION 4. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
