ORDINANCE MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FROM GENERAL FUND
EQUITY FOR PURPOSES OF ACCEPTING THE PROPOSALS FOR
THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE MPEC COLISEUM PROJECT; FINDING
AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has received proposals to build the
Coliseum component of the MPEC project, at a total project amount of $19,683,198;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that said proposals should be accepted and
that said Coliseum should be constructed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated from General Fund Equity the
amount of $ 165,783 to the Coliseum Construction Fund (283- 9525).
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
