ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $120,000 FROM THE TEXAS
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR THE PURCHASE OF A
BUS UNDER THE SECTION 5309 CAPITAL REPLACEMENT
PROGRAM; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT
WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, there exists a need to replace a bus operated by the Wichita Falls
Transit System; and
WHEREAS, the Texas Department of Transportation has offered to provide the
City with $120,000, received from the Federal Transit Administration under the Section
5309 Capital Replacement Program, to replace a bus.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. An amount of $120,000 is hereby appropriated from the Texas
Department of Transportation.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
