ORDINANCE REVOKING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT GRANTED BY
THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION TO ALLOW A VIDEO
GAME ARCADE TO OPERATE AT 1410 BEVERLY DRIVE; FINDING
AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission granted a conditional use
permit to allow a video game arcade to operate at 1410 Beverly Drive; and
WHEREAS, an appeal of the Planning and Zoning Commission's decision was
filed within ten days of the meeting; and
WHEREAS, upon review of the appeal, the City Council of the City of Wichita
Falls, Texas, deems it in the public interest to revoke Conditional Use Permit # C 01 -16.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Conditional Use Permit # C 01 -16 granted by the Planning and
Zoning Commission on April 11, 2001, is hereby revoked.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
