ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, CANCELING THE JULY 3, 2001 CITY COUNCIL
MEETING; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT
WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, four of the seven City Councilors will be representing the City of
Wichita Falls as part of a delegation to the City's sister city, Furstenfeldbruck, Germany,
from July 1 -10, 2001; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has a regularly scheduled Council meeting set for
Tuesday, July 3, 2001; and
WHEREAS, as there will not be a quorum of the Council available for this
scheduled meeting, it is the desire of the City Council that such meeting be canceled.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The regularly scheduled City Council meeting for the City of Wichita
Falls set for Tuesday, July 3, 2001, is hereby canceled.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
