AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE I-TAXIMWA CHARGES TO BE MADE BY ANY PERSON, F IRM9 CORPORATION, RECEIVER OR LESSEE OPERATING A TELE- PHONE SYSTEM IN TIER] CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, FIXING THE DATE FOR THE PAYIENT OF BILLS AND PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR ITS VIOLATION. BE IT ORDAIi4ED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERIMN OF THE CITY OF � ICHITA FALLS, TEXAS; SECTION 1. That no person, firm, corporation, receiver or lessee, or the manager, agent or employee of such person, firm, corpora- tion, receiver or lessee, operating a telephone system in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, shall charge subscribers more than the following schedule of rates, to-wit: Straight line business phone- $5.00 per month; Two party line business phone- 4.00 per month; Straight line residence phone- 2.00 per month; Two party line residence phone- 1.90 per month; Four party line residence phone- 1.60 per month. SECTION 2. That bills for such telephone service shall become due and shall be presented on the first day of the month following the rendering of the service and such bill shall be subject to a discount of ten per (10`e) cent if paid on or before the loth day of said month. • SECTION 3. That any person, firm, corporation, receiver or lessee or the manager, agent or employee of any such person, firm, corpora- tion, receiver or lessee, operating a telephone system in the City of Wichita Falls who shall violate any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be fined Two Hundred ($200.00) Dollars upon conviction in the corporation court of the City of Wichita Falls and each and every day of such violation shall constitute a sep- arate offense. SECTION 4. That any subscriber for telephone, whether for business or residence, service within the City of Wichita Falls who is charg- ed more per month for such service than is provided for in this Ordinance shall have the right to recover in any court having jurisdiction as penalties from any such person, firm, corporation, receiver or lessee not less than Twenty-five 425.00) Dollars nor more than Two Hundred ($200.00) Dollars for each and every day such unlawful charge is made for such service.
