AN ORDINANCE yAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE SUPPORT OF THE CITY GOVERNYffT
UNTIL TEE FINAL ADOPTION OF A BUDGET AND PASSAGE OF A GENERAL APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE
FOR THE YEAR BEGINNING APRIL 1, 1935, AND ENDING MARCH 31, 1936, AND DECLARING AN
EkERGENCY,
WHEREAS, the Let of the City of Wichita Falls has not been finally approved
and it has been impossible to pass a general appropriation ordinance for the year
beginning April 1, 1935, and ending Larch 31, 1936, and;
,,ffjKMAS, it is necessary that appropriations be made for the support of the
city government until such general appropriation ordinance is passed;
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDEWM OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the sum of $3,855.01 is hereby appropriated out of the
General fund for payment of the following expense of the city government, to-wit:
Account #3 City Clerk 3.30
7 Purchasing Agent 14.35
10 Auditorium 3,303.66
21 Building Inspection 216.60
22 Plumbing Inspection 274.60
23 Police 41.00
308 District Clerk 1.50
Total $3,855.01
SECTION 2. That the sum of $259.80 is hereby appropriated out of the Street
Fund for payment of the following expense of the city Epvernment, to-wit:
Account #43 storm Sewer Repairs $259.80
SECTION 3. That the sum of $396.00 is hereby appropriated out of the Park
Fund for payment of the following expense of maintaining the city government, to-wit:
Account #61 Golf Course 239.09
302 Cemeteries 156.91
Total $396.00
SECTION 4. That the sum of $412.69 is hereby appropriated out of the Library
Fund for expenses of the Library, to-wit:
Account #66 Library $412.89
SECTION 5. That the sum Of 4151.49 is hereby appropriated out of the Water
Fund for payment of the following expense of maintaining the -dater Department, to-wit:
Account #70 Water Collection 149.47

Total $151.49
SECTION 6. The fact that the 4bove item are dve vnd payable and will be
due and payable on or before Aprkkx1*,MaY 1, 1935, and that no appropriation has been
made to cover same, creates an emergency, and this ordinance is hereby declared an, and
emergency measure and shall take effect innediately after its passage and approval
it is so ordained.
