Ord 1198 5/6/1935 ORDINANCE NO. 1198 AN ORDINANCE I-AKING ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION OUT OF THE UNAPPROPRIATED BALANCE AT THE BEGIM-ING OF THE FISCAL YEJ� FOR THE SUPPORT OF THE CITY GOVERN- I-ENT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING APRIL 1, 1935, AMD ENDING YARCH 31, 1935, AND DECLARING AN IMIRGENCY. -1 t—EREAS, there was on hand at the beginning of the fiscal year an unappropriated cash balance and, �MEREAS, it has been found necessary to make certain emergency expendi- tures not anticipated or provided in the regular appropriation ordinance, NO11, THEREFORE$ BE IT ORDAIN-ED BY THE BOARD OF ALUEPIEN OF THE CITY OF 17ICHITA FALLS: SECTION 1. That the sum of $3,490.00 is hereby appropriated out of the General Fund for the current fiscal year to pay the following accounts: Account #2 City lvznager PP5.00 3 City Clerk 170.00 5 Legal 1,500.00 t' 23 Police 1,145.00 44--� 50 "!ichita General Hospital 450.00 Total �3,490.00 SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated out of the Street Fund the Sim of $66&W- to caver the following items: Account J1307 Right-of-',,;ay SECTION 3. There is hereby appropriated out of the Park Fund the sum of $341.80 to cover the following items: Account #60 Parks 41.80 302 Cemeteries 300.00 Total 9341.80 SECTION 4. That there is hereby appropriated out of the ":ater Fund the sum of 'W'503.00 to cover the following items: Account j'70 '�.'ater 9503.00 SECTION 5. There is hereby appropriated out of the Interest & LJinking Fund the sum of $143,009.36 to cover bonds and interest coupons due and payable, as follows: Account It2CO - Bond Principal 100,500.00 201 Bond Interest 42,509.36 Total 4U43,009.36 SECTION 6. The fact that the above expenditures are necessary for the functioning of the city governrrpnt, creatps an emergency reouiring suspension of the rules re-uirine- thst ordinsnces be read on three separate days and such rules are hereby suspended and this ordinance is hereby declared an emergency measure and shall take effect immediately after its passage and approval.
