ORDINANCE MAKING APPROPRIATION TO THE SPECIAL REVENUE
FUND FOR GRANT REVENUE FROM TARRANT COUNTY AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE CONTRACT
ACCEPTING SAME; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO
THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has received approval for grant revenue
from Tarrant County to enhance existing service delivery; and
WHEREAS, the award of these funds could not have been anticipated prior to
the adoption of the 2000 -2001 Budget; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated to the Special Revenue Fund
$73,024 for the Ryan White Title III Grant, and the City Manager is authorized to enter
into contract with Tarrant County for the Wichita Falls- Wichita County Health District.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
