OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS ONE PROPOSITION: (1) WHETHER OR NOT
SUCH VOTERS ARE IN FAVOR OF THE ISSUANCE OF 41..260$000.00 REVENUE
BONDS FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTING A COI�,IPLETE ELECTRIC LIGhT AND
POWER SYSTEIA IN SAID CITY AND THE PLEDGING OF THE REVENUES OF THE
ELECTRIC LIGHT AND POWER SYSTEM IN THE PAYMENT THEREOF., SUCH OBLIGATION
TO BE PAID ONLY FROIVI THE REVENUES OF SUCH PLANT; DESIGNATING THE
PLACES AT WHICH SAID ELECTION ARE TO BE HELD., NITMBERING THE CITY
VOTING PRECINCTS AND DEFINING "LIE BOUNDARIES THEREOF AND APPOINTING
OFFICERS THEREFOR-
WHEREAS.. there is a necessity for the construct,ion
of a complete electric light and power system for the City of Wichita
Falls., Texas; and,
WHEREASO it is considered to be to the best interest
of the City that the cost of constructing such system be financed by
the issuance of revenue bonds payable solely from and secured by an
exclusive first lien on and a pledge of the revenues of the electric
light and power system of said Citys after deduction of reasonable
operation and maintenance expense., all in accordance with provisions
of Article 1111-1118p both inclusivep of the 1925 Revised Civil Statutes
of Texas, as amendedy and in no wise supported by an ad valorem or other
tax on property in the City; and,
WhEREASs the Board of Aldermen deem it necessary
and proper that the question of the issuance of such revenue bonds
and the pledging of such revenues be submitted to the qualified
electors of said City:

SECTION 1. That an election be held on the
day of D. 1936, at which election the following proposition
shall be submitted:
t'Shall the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita
Fallss Texass be authorized to issue 41s260p000.00 revenue bonds of
said City, maturing serially over a period of years not to exceed
thirty yearss bearing interest at the rate of four (4%) per centum per
annums payable semi-annuallYs for the purpose of constructing a
complete electric light and Dower system in said Cityo and to provide
for the payment of principal and interest on said bonds by pledging
the net revenues from the operation of the electric light and power
systemott

of Texas, and only qualified electors, who own taxatle property in the City
and who have duly rendered the same for taxation, shall be qualified to
vote,
All voters, who favor the proposition to issue the said
bonds, shall have written or printed on their ballots the following
words :

And those opposed to the proposition to issue the said

4ECTION 4, That a copy of this ordinance and order,
signed by the Mayor of said City and attested by the City Secretary., shall
serve as proper notice of said election*
The Mayor is authorized and directed to cause this notice
of the election to be posted at the City Hall and in each election
precinct within said City, for at least fifteen full days prior to the
date of said election,
�;ECTION 5* The iviayor is further authorized and directed
to cause this notice of election to be published in some newspaper of
genergl circulation published in said City once each week for two
consecutive weeks. The date of the first publication shall be not less
than fifteen full days prior to the date of said election.
