BE IT ORDAINED BY TIM BOARD OF ALDEPMI� OF THE CITy OF
WICHITA FALLSp WICHITA COILRiTY9 TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 841, passed and approved
on the 8th day of November, A.D. 1926t entitled "An Ordinance
providing for a tax on dogs, providing for vaccination of dogs
against rabies by a licensed veterinarian as a condition pre-
cedent to the issuance of such license tagg the fees to be charg-
ed for such vaccination and providing for the method of the col-
lection of said tax and providing a penalty, repealing Ordinances
Yos. 396 and 589 and all other Ordinances in conflict herewith, "
be and the same is hereby amended so as to hereafter read:
"Section 1. That there is hereafter levied and assessed upon
each dog, male or female-, kept or owned within the City of Wichita
Falls, -Texas, an annual tax -and license fee of One ($1.00) Dollar,
which tax and license fee is to be due and payable on the lst day
of January of each year; and it is hereby made the duty of the
o-,!mer or keeper of any dog, male or female, to pay over to the
Chief of Police, or Ais duly authorized agent, the said tax on
or before the lst day of January of each year. "
SEGTI01NT 2.
This Ordinance shall be applicable to the tax for the year
1936 and applied upon all licenses issued on or after February
26, 1936.
