D. 1925, ENTITLED 11AK ORDI-KANICE GRANTIN1,3T TO THE WICHITA FALLS TRACTION C0,1UPANY AND ITS ASSIGNS THE RIGHT TO MAINTAIN AND OPERATE MOTOR TRUCKS, ZITITEYS AND BUSSES OVER AND ALONG THE PUBLIC ROAD§ STREETS SQTTARES., ALLEYS AND HIGITIdAYS OF THE CITY OF WICHITI FALLS., TEXAS., FOR THE PURPOSE OF CARRYING PASSENGERS FOR HIRE j BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOz�,RD OF ALDERRE11', 011 THE CITY OF IdICHITA FALLS, TEXAS: That Section 5 of Ordinance No.656, passed and approved by the Board of Addermen of the City Of Wichita Falls., Texas., on the 14th day of December., A. D. 1925Y entitled "an ordinance granting to the 10,,ichita Falls Traction Company and its assin�ns the right to maintain and operate motor trucks jitneys, and busses over and along the public roads., streets, squares, alleys and hii�--4hways of the City of Wichita Falls,, Texas., for the purpose of carrying passengers for hire" as follows:- Q) 1. shall be amended SECTION 5. That before the 117ich- ita Falls Traction Company, its successors and assigns., shall operate a street bus upon the public streets., in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, it shall deposit with the City Clerk of _'dicl-iita �Zalls , Texas a good and sufficient bond such as may be approved by thelCity Attorney as to form and approved by the Mlayor as- to sufficiency and in the amount hereinafter required and conditioned that the Wichita Falls Traction Company, its successors and assigns shall well and truly pay to the Mayor ea of said city and to his "successors in office for the benefit of any person or persons injured by reason of the negli-ent operation of such vehicle any amount or amounts which may be awarded by final judgment of any court of competent juris- diction against the Wichita Falls Traction Company, its successors and assigns., not exceeding, however,, for any injury to any one person the sum of �1,000.00 or the sum of 45,000.00 for all persons injured in any one accident or occasion. Such bond shall provide that each such claim or cause of action shall survive in case if the death of the person injured for the benefit of the legal bene- ficiaries of such persons and that such bond shall not be exhausted by the first recovery but shall be subject to successive recoveries and shall be subject to any alterations of the route or tennini of such vehicle as herein provided during the time which sbae shall continue in effect. Said bond shall furt'her provide for and operate to the benefit of any person suffering damage to his property through the negli�-f-ent operation of said vehicle in a sum not exceedin-- $2,50.00."
