ORDINANCE SETTING THE CHARGE FOR 10 CUBIC YARD ROLL -OFF
CONTAINER REFUSE SERVICE; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT
THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS
OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has identified a need in its customer base
for a 10 cubic yard roll -off container system; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to establish a fee system for this system
adequate to address the capital and anticipated operational cost.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The charges for the 10 cubic yard roll -off service is as follows:
a) Delivery Charge $25.00
b) Fixed Use Fee $20.00
c) Per Day Rental $3.00 per day
d) Landfill Charge for Refuse $28.00 per ton
e) Landfill Charge for Compostible Organic Material $18.00 per ton
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
