AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FUNDS APPROVED FROM THE
U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT FOR
THE SECTION 8 RENTAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has
amended the amount of Consolidate Annual Contributions Contract for the Section 8
Rental Assistance Program; and'
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Wichita Falls City Council to be in the
public interest to provide rental assistance to low- income families through the Section 8
Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The funds be appropriated for the Section 8 Program in the
amount of $770,574.00.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
