ENGINEER AND INSPECTOR OF PLU1�,,121 - ING; AND REQUIRING PERMITS MR CERTAIN KINDS OF PLUMBING DRAINAGE; AND COMPELLING BUILDINGS UNDER CERTAIN CONDI'_1'IONS TO BE' CONNECTED WITH SANI- TARY SEWERS; PRO'VIDING THE THROWING OF WASTES, GARBAGE, ETC. , INTO THE SEVV7,R SYSTE'11�1 AND THE INJURY OF THE SYSTE1,,1 IN ANY MANNER; FIXING THE ORIGINAL LICENSE FEE OF $100 .00 PER -YEAR 1,'TITH A RENEWAL ANNUAL FEE OF �'10.00 per YEAR; AND PRESCRIBING PENALTIES -FOR THE VIOLATION OF ANY OF THE PROVISIONS OF THE ACT, AED REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT '�IiITH SA[VIE- Ana vLereass it is the cLesire of the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls to emend that portion of Section VIII of the above ordinance vdiich reads as follows: Said bonds shall run for a period of one year and be renewed at their expiration and no plumbing work shall be done by end no permits shall be is- sued to any contracting plumber unless he has such bond in full force ancL effect. Upon the making of a proper surety bond� a license to do plumbinE work shall be issued by the City Clerk upon receipt of $10.00 yearly license fee. NOW, THEREFORE2 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CIT![ OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, that the above quoted portion of Section VIII of the above' numbered ordinances, be, and the same is hereby emended to read as follows: SECTION I. Said bonds shall run for a period of one year ana be renewed at their expiration and no plumbing work shall be done by and no permits shall be issued to any contracting plumber unless he has such bond in full force ana effect. Upon the making of a proper surety bond, a license to do plumbing work shall be issued by the City Clerk upon receipt of �100.00 yearly license fee. It being further provided that all persons, firits, or corpor- ations carrying on a plumbing business in the City of Wichita Fallso unaer the terms of this Ordinances who now hold the license as provi- cLea by Section VIII9 as hereinabove set out , may renew the same by the payment of an annual license fee of $10.00 per year, and that all such persons who may hereafter become so engaged after the payment of license fee as provicLea in Section I hereof , may likewise renew the same at its expiration upon the payment of an annual yearly fee of �10.00 - SECTION II, Any person, firmt association or corporation that shall fail to comply with or violate any of the provisions of this orainance shall be cLeemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon con- viction thereof, shall be fined in any sum not less than $5.00 nor more than $100-00 for each offenseo Any orcLinances or parts of ordinences in conflict with any provision of this Ordinance are hereby expressly repealed.
