SE-CTIOK 11.4 Thp Texas Pipe Line Company, its assigns
and successors, are hereby granted the right, power,
privilege and franchise to construct, maintain, and
oporate telephone and telegraph lines over, un.der, upon
and across certain streets and alleys in said city, as
follows, to-Wit:*
StartinC at Sixth Street in the ,alley between Scott
and Indiana Streets, extending in a Southerly direction
to Twelfth Street; ThENCE Last alori��7 nvelf,' :3t-09t to
0.1.io Avenue ; T.L;ENCE Sout',Ii alon,�:, Ohio jivenue to Barwise
Street ; TESINCI Last on 'Barwise Street to and across the
14. K. & T. Railway Company and WiCh"itd Valley Railway
Company Yards to the cable pole of the Southwestern Bell
Telephone Company; starting in the alley between 6cott and
Indiana Streets on Seventh Street, poles on south -side of
Seventh Street eltending in an Vjk§tex�ly. direction to Travis
Avenue ; TKENCE South in t1le alley betvveeA Travis Avenue
and La-mar Avenue off Seventh Street to the back of Tiamilton
Building: such route more definitely s."D�own in red on the
attached n,_ap , marked "Xxhibit All and made a part hereof.
SECTION 2 : Th-is Srant and franchise shall run for a
full period of ten (10) years from this date , unless soon-
er .terminated by the City, or under the provisions of this
franchise,
SECTION 3: It is understood and agreed that the said
Company shall be allowed to maintain and operate the pre-
sent pole line with iric ten pin cross arms carryinE twenty
;;ires, or such greater number of wires as may be carried
safely on said pole, (the pole line on Seventh Street
does not have cross arms but has one 42'5-puir cable) until
such time as thesaid City shall order such pole line
dismantled and torn down, it being understood that said
pole lir,,�. shall remain at least five ( 0, yeurs If same
is kept in good condition. if said pole line is ordered
down after the expiration of five years, then thle said
Company shall have t.--- privilege of placin,, its teleptone
and telegraph xires underground.
SECTION 4: The Said The Texas Pipe Line Company by
accepting this franchise agrees to hold the City harmless
for any and all damages to property or persons by reason of
thebuilding, maintaining and ODerating of said pole line and
said telephone and, telegraph lines along the streets and
alleys as above %described.

A, t. . And the said Gompany further agrees and
obligates itself to maintain and, operate said lines In
such manner as not to interfere �,�!ith traffic on said streets
and alleys or with the use of private property adioininS such
lines.
UCTION 6 : This franchise is granted subject to all
the terms and provisions of the charter of the City of
Wichita Falls adopted March 30th, 1920, and contained in
sections 121 to Section 1-28, inclusive.

the City of Wichita Falls stiall I-Lave the privilege of using
sai-I Pole li-ae for its police and fire alarm wire , it being
understood thht such wires shall be ��o placed as not to
imnecossarily interfere with the wires of the said The Texas
