That Sections 11 b, 4, b, 11 and 13 of Ordinance No . 1272,

follows) to-wit:
SEC�_L'ION 1 . It shall hereafter be unlawful for any person,
firm or corporation to solicit subscriptions, or advertisements
-Lor any book, periodical or other print-ed matter; or to solicit
funds or contributions for any pur-pose, either personally, by
personal representative or re-oresentatives, messen;�er or
messen-ers or by telephone Lor any rjurDose withi�n� the (�ity ol
�'I'ichita �Iallsl Cexas, without first securin,,,; a per.y;_dt from the

SECTION 3. Li)on the passage and approval of this Ordin-
ance, the 1.1ayor may appoint an kdvisory Committee to whom such
apolications as he dee�_s advisible ii-,Lay be referred to, and when
so re i erred, the ;1J�oi,,i;-iit-'U-ee shall i.-Lvestizate said a-pplicants and
report their findings and reco.ruaendations to the jity Ulerk as
soon as possible , provided that such findings and recoiii�,�endations
shall be made vvithin a ,)eriod of ten da-,s from the recei-pt by the
of such application.
SECTION 4. All a-oplications -for perjits

under the terms of this Ordinance , shali be filed with the (�itv
�.;lerk and uDon the request of the l.-ayor, the ;Jity 61er',-. shall
immediately refe�r such a,)plications requested by the Layor to
the Ldvisory UoLiu�iittee for their invc�stiation, findings and re-
port thereon, and all other apj)licLtions�D filed with tile City
".1lerk not so referred to the .�oiamittee by the ...-ayor, shall be
investi-ated b-,i the kaity "�Jlerk and his report and recommendations
thereon shall be made to the i3oard of 1,--ldermen, who will within
+Uen days from the filing- of said application with the ',.�ity ulerk
approve or disapprove the same, and if anproved, the ity k�lerk
shall issue a permitu upon the a-,-?licant coi,�plying -with the teri.rz
and provisions of this Ordinance.

6ECTION 11 . Upon the ex-711iration of the original per-
mits, the "Jity C�TlerL: may upon "the pai'ment of the fees pro-
vided for in this Ordinance, renew such permits for one or
more months, not to exceed a period of six months from the
expiration of the original perrnjits, provided he is satisfied
that the aD� plicant for such- renewal has complied with this
ordinance and all other ordinances of the " ity Of ,ichita
_,Lralls.
SECTION 13. This Ordinance is not to anply to indi-
vidual citizens -and business men of the City -of Jichita Falls
when making s0licitations for the ALLeri-an Red Cross,
u
Community Chest and Chamber of Commerce'of the City of � lichita
',�alls, zexas, or newspapers with a regular! and continuou"s
circulation, and shali -not a�)ply to members or officers of any
church) religious organization, :)urely charitable organizations
or other organizations of any 1:ind wilen soliciting funds or
contributions from the members of such organizations or from
persons attending meetings of such or�-anizations but shall
