SECTION 1.
The word Pyrotechnics , as used in this ordinance., shall
include any sparkler, squib, rocket, fire cracker, roman candle,
fire balloon, hydrogen-filled balloon, si,�nal li:_hts, or other
devices or compositions used to obtain visible oV'-.' audible dis-
play of fire works.
SECTION 2.
No person, firm or corporation shall hereafter sell
any Pyrotechnics in the corporate limits of the City Of Wichita
Falls, Texas, to be used, fired or exploded in said city.
SECTION 3.
No person2 firm or corporation shall hereafter have in
his, their Or its Possession in the corporate limits of the City
Of 1*4"ichita Falls any pyrotechnics for the Purpose Of using, fir-
in,-, or explodinjE� same in the cOrporatle limits Of said citys and
any Pyrotechnics so found in the Possession of any person, firm
or corporation shall be condemned, seized, and confiscated by

the Police Department of the City Of Wichita Fails.
SECTIO_i�l 4.
Provided that this ordinance shall not apply to the
Possession or use Of signaiin<-r devices for current daily con-
sumption by railroads and others required to us-e them by law,
nor to the possessiono sale Or use of normal stock of flash
ll-Dht compositions by photographers or dealers in photographic
s upplies.
SECTION 5.
Provided that the board Of Aldermen -may issue a written
permit to a properly qualified person, firm, or corporation for
Jvin,-,,,r a Pyrotechnic display in a suitable open place. permit,
so issued shall impose such restrictions as may be necessary to
Properly safeSuard life and property. Before such permit is is-
sued, the applicant thereforl shall furnish a bond which shall be
approved by 'he City Attorney --s to fOrm and deemed adequate by
t�e Board of "Aldermen, which bond shall become available in the
payment Of any damages to publi- Or Private Property and the pay-
ment "OP any personal injuries resultin

SECTION 6.
Should any section.9 paragraph, clause or phrase hereof be
declared to be void or unconstitutional, such holdings shall
not affect the other valid Provisions of this ordinance., and
same shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 7.
Any person, firm or corporation violatin6 Section 2 of
this Ordinance shall upon conviction be fined in any sum no'Lt
