ORDINANCE NO. 1295
AN ORDINANCE"CLOSING THAT PART OF THE ALLEYS IN BLOCK 1VO. 33- OF THE BARWISE
AND JALONIC ADDITION TO THE CITY OF '011CHITA FALLS, TEXAS, LYING VVEST AND
SOUTH OF SCOTT STREET HIGHIWAY NO. 5., PART OF SAID ALLEYS RUNNING EAST AND
ZST bETI'VEEN LOTS NOS. 4 AND 5., AND NORTH AND SOUTH BETIVIEEN LOTS NOS. 5., 6.,
7., 81 91 10,, 11 AND 12 OF BLOCK NO. 31 OF SAID ADDITION LYING _ZST AND SOUTH
OF SCOTT STREET HIVWAY NO 5 CITY OF WICHITA FALLS., TEXAS.
�MREAS, the alley running East and West between Lots 12 and 13 of
Block 31 of Barwise and Jalonic, Street lying North and East of said Highway
No. 51 has heretofore been closed by Ordinance No. 1257., and
71BEREAS, all of the property effected by the closing of the above
mentioned alleys belongs to Gordon West and the closing of said alleys will
not in any manner effect any other properties adjacent thereto and Will be
to the benefit of the public in general., and
WHEREAS, it is for the benefit of the public that such alleys be
closed and vacated.
NUff, THEREFOREo BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERLIEN OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS., TEXAS:
SECTION :6 That the portion of the alley extending from the West
side of Scott Street Highway No. 5 to the Viest side of 13lock 31 and separating
Lots J+ and 5 of Block 31 of the Barwise and Jalonic Addition to the City of
Wichita Falls, and that portion of the alley extending South from Scott Street
Highway No. 5 to the North boundary line of 'Jalftiql Street., and running be—
tween Lots 5, 6,, 7, 8, 9., 10., 11 and 12 of Block 31 of the Barwise and Jalonic
Addition to the City of Wichita Falls$ Texas,, be., and the same are hereby
closed and vacated.
