SECTION 1.
That the codification of' the Ordinances of the
City Of 110vichita Falls, Texas, prepared by B. D. Sartin and
approved by T.A. Hicks, City Attorney, the same being in
book form and printed by Terry Bros.

hereby adopted as the c odification of' the Ordinances of
the City O� Iffichita Falls as of date, January 1. 1941; that
so much of all Ordinances of a General nature in conflict
with said codification of Ordinances hereby adopted, except
such as may have been Passed since January 1 1941$ are
hereby repealed; but such repeal shall not afyfect or impair
any ViSht or remedy vested or accrued under such repeal
Ordinances, nor shall it affect any Ordinance ProvidinE for

SECTION 2.
That the provisions of this Codification of
Ordinances of the City of Wicilita Falls, so far as they are
substantially the same as the Ordinances in force on the lst
day of January, 1941, shall be construed as a continuance
thereof, and not as new enactments of U".qe samee
SECTION 3.
That any and all ordinances passed since January 1,,
shall be in no way affected by this codification of Ordi-
nances or this Ordinance, but any and all such Ordinances
passed since January 1, 1941, shall continue to be in fuli
force and el"'fect, notwithstandinS conflict, if anyo between
any such Ordinance and the provisions Of this codification
of Ordinances.
SECTION 4.
That the explanatory words, headinLs, or annotations
at the beSinnin�-,, of chapters, sections and subsections
thereof of this codification of Ordinances, shall not be
construed to be any part thereof, or a construction there-
OfP but same are merely -or convenience in indexinc� and
findinE the various Provisions of the Ordinances.
SLCTI ON 5.
That the said codification Of Ordinances hereby adopt-
ed shall hereafter be referred to as the Codification of
Ordinances of the City Of Wichita Falls , and Title 1 of
such Codification shall be referred to as the Administra-
tive Code and all other Titles shall be referred to as the
Penal Code.
SECTION 6.
That the said Codification of Ordinances of the City
Of 17ichita Falls hereby adopted, when same is published in
book form Purportino, to be published 'by the authority and
under the direction�_'of the �Oard of Aldermen by Terry
Brotherso Printers, the same shall be received in evidence
in all courts and proceedings of every kind, without fur-
ther proof thereof.
