ED; AND DECLARING AN EMIERGENCY.
BE IT ORD&IIIED BY T'Ija� BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE
CITY OF '�,-I.CHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION I-
That no utilities shall be connected with any new
buildinG or construction until a proper sewer connection
has been made., if the city sewer is available mithin two
hundred (200) feet from such new buildinE� or construction�,
or if such city sewer is not available within said distance,
until an approved septic tank and disposal field, or a san-
itary pit privy has teen constructed for tl-,-.e use of such
new building or construction. The septic tanks and privies
shall be approved by both the Engineering and Health De-
partments of the City of 7,,'�ichita Falls, Texas, before such
utility clearances shall. be issued.
SECTI 0'1 T 2.
That no utilities shall be connected with any
new buildin6 or construction until all applicable Ordi-
nances have bec;n fully complied with and all plumbinr-�,

electrical wirin��j E;as installations, water connections
and all other utilities necessary or used in such new
buildinL or construction I-as been properly installed.
SECTION 3.
Nothin, in t.r.is Ordinance shall prohibit the
City En6ineer from t�issuinE; temporary permits for such
utilities as may be necessary in the construction of such
new build-' n-'s and improvements or for the testinL� of in-
stallations of wires, pipes an�d other utilities in such
improvements.
SECTION 4.
The fact that there is no Ordinance in the City
of Wichita :Palls prohibiting the utility connections until
all applicable Ordinances have been complied with creates an
emerE;ency) and the rule requirinL.' the Ordinances to be read
on three (3) several days is h-ereby suspended, and this Ordi-
nance shall take effect from and after its passage and ap-
proval.
