BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERK& OF' THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLSO TEXAS:
SECTIOA 1.
of the That Section 15-109 of the Codification of ordinances
,,Pity of Wichita Falls, Texas, 1941, also known as Sec-
tion �� of Ordinance No. 1144, be modified and amended by
addin-g thereto a paragraph reading as follows, to-wit:
"Effective January 18, 1944, and until further notice
or until such time as materials now required by this Section
are released by the War Production Board for use in new con-
structionp electrical installations, apparatus and materials
will be inspected and approved on any new construction within
the corporate limits of the City of Wichita Fallso Texas, when
such construction is done in accordance with the provisions of
the 194U National Electrical Code. It is distinctly understood
that any existing installation where it- becomes necessary to
change or make additions thereto, such changes and additions
shaii be done strictly in accordance with this Section and any
and all other repairs shall be done strictly in accordance with
the provisions of this Chapter and of Ordinance No. 1144. 11
SECTIOIN 2.
The fact that there is now under construction with-
in the City of Wichita Falls certain buildings in which the
War Production Board has refused to grant priorities for the
use of materials required by this Section and by the Electrical
Ordinance of the City of Wichita Falls, and because such mater-
ials can not be procured by the owners and contractorso said work
is being delayedo creates an emergency, and the rule requiring
the reading of Ordinances on three several days is hereby sus-
pended and this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its
passage and approval.
