That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 45, as amended, also being _�nown as Section 7-.1001,, Title 7, GhaiDter 10., Codification of ordinances of the ;_'ity of "ichita Falls, Texas, 1941, and 6ection 2 of said Ordinance 445,, also known as Section 7-1001.1, be and -the salae are hereby amended so as to hereafter read as follows., to-wit; 6�LTION 7-1001: RATES: The following rates are hereby established and same shall be hereafter collected by the iiater Department: .. ZD idUNICIPAL C011,16U1121"ION. iM water furnished to the various departments of the City of Wichita Falls., Texas, by the --ater Department shall be measured by meter and all water used by the City Departments shall be charged to their res- pective accounts and paid for -.qonthly by the respective departments to the Viater Department at the rate of 20� per one thousand gallons of water, such amount of water to be used during z1he current month. All water f urnished the departments of the City shall be paid as f ol I ows: 1. For all --ivater furnished for street sprinkling, street cleaning., sweeping, and flushing to the street department. 2. For all water furnished to Public Parks, Cemetery, Play Grounds, etc., to the Park Department. 3. For all water furnished to the incinerator, flushing sewers., or sprinkling dumping grounds, to tile Sanitary Department. CD 4. For all water furnishe-C-1 for any municipal building or for the use of any of the departments of the Git,y Government not specified in this ordinance the same shall be charged to such building or department service account and paid for from such funds as j-iiay be available, '--ut in the event no building or depart- mental fund is available such account shall be paid for from the general fund or other funds as directed by the Board of 'Lldenllen. 6ECTIgNI 2. SECTION 7-1001.1 (11121 Provided that the schedule of rates set forth above in Section 7-1001 to be charged shall not apply to persons, fir-,as, and corporations residing beyond the city limits of the Citi,7 of vVichita Falls or having and main- taird-ng places of business outside the city limits of said city, but that such persons shall pay a rate equivalent to the rate above perscribed, '�lus 25% of the rate so prescribed in said Section. Provided that the minimLn charge shall be g2.00 per month of persons, firms or corporations residing outside of the city lilTats. 6iLTION 3. Because of the fact that the present water rates are inadequate and because of the urgent necissity that the water works and vjqter supply be supplemented without further delay creates an araergency and the rule reouiring the reading of ordinances on three several days is hereby suspended and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its passage and approval.
