BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF VVICHI`1'A FALLS, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That it shall hereafter be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation, to park or to permit to be parked upon any street, alley or other public place of the City of Wichita Falls, any truck or other motor vehicle used in transporting gasoline or liquified petroleum gases, except where such trucks or motor ve- hicles are actually engaged in unloading gasoline or liquified petroleum gases at a fillinE station or other place where such gasoline or liquified petroleum gases is sold at retail or at a place where same is being lawfully used for domestic or commercial purposes. SECTION 2. That any person violating any provision of this Ordi- nance shall upon conviction in a court of competent jurisdiction be fined in any sum not less than Twenty-five Dollars, nor more than Two Hundred Dollars. SECTION 3. The fact that many trucks used in transporting gaso- line and liquified petroleum gases are now being parked upon the streets and other public places within the corporate limits of the City of Wichita Falls, and that the presence of said parked trucks and motor vehicles jeopardize the peace and health of the citizens of said City creates an emergency, and this Ordinance is hereby declared an emergency measure on the ground of urgent public need for the preservation of peace, health and safety of property; and the rule requiring the reading of Ordinances on three several days is hereby suspended, and this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage and approval, and after- same has been published one time in the official newspaper of the City of �lichita Falls, Texas.
