That there is hereby created a fire lane on the following described
portion of Avenue H, to-wit:
That portion of Ave. H extending from the
West property line of Harrison Street to the
East property line of Giddings Street and
lying between Blocks Nos. 1 and 2, Campbell
Addition and Blocks hos. 1 and 2,Jackson-
Roberts Addition in 'eYi Chita Falls, Texas.
SECTION II
That it shall hereafter be unlawful for any person, firm and cor-
poration to park an automobile or any character of vehickle on that portion
of Avenue H above described, and the same is hereby declared to be a fire
lane.
SECTION III
Any person or persons, firm or corporation who violates any of
the provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of misdemeanor
and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum not less than 5 and not
more than $200 for each offence.
The fact that that portion of avenue H above described is
a narrow street upon which a fire station is located, which necessitates
the trucks entering said street in going to and from fires, and the further
fact that traffic is heavy on the same a greater part of the time, which
endangers lives and damage to property of the citizens of '�ichita '--Ills
cr:2ates an emergency, and the rule requirin- the reading of Ordinance on
three several days is hereby suspended and this Ordinance shall tP'l-e effect
inu_iediately upon its passage, approval and publican n as provided for by
