BH. IT O�"DiJITLD BY THJ1 BOARD OF 'rI D� 1, OF Ti m CITY OF ".'JICHITA FILLS, TEXAS. SECTION 1. That Section 1 of Ordinance Lao. 1350 adopted September 8th A. D., 1942, be, and the same is, hereby amended so as to hereafter read as f ollows, to-wit: SECTIOIeT 2. The operators transporting passengers are authorized to charge a cash fare of 100 per adult person for transporting or carrying such passenger on its motor busses,provided that four (4) tokens shall be sold for Thirty (30f) cents to all adults who shall apply for same, and such tickets or tokens shall be kept for sale by all motormen and conductors on such motor busses,and at such other places in the City offichita Falls as may be designated by the Transit Corporation. The rates of fares provided for herein are for only one continuous ride in one direction over any of the present or future bus lines of the Transit Corporation within the corporate limits of the city. The Transit Corporation shall not be required to furnish any round trip passage over any line or lines for a single fare or to carry any passenger by transfer from any point on its lines to another point in the sane vicinity for a single fare. The operators may, subject to the approval of the Board of ;Udermen, make such reasonable regulations not inconsistent herewith or with other ordinances related to such matters as may be necessary to prevent the misuse and abuse of transfers. The operators transporting passengers shall give transfers under provisions now fixed or hereafter to be fixed by general ordinance. Children five years of age or less, when attended by a passenger above said age, shall be carried free, and tickets in lots of 24 each good for one trip over the line or lines owned by the operator shall be sold for a sum not to exceed $1.00 to children between the ages of five and twelve years in actual attendance upon any academic public or private schools situated within or adjacent to the city of Viichita Falls, Texas. All such passengers shall enjoy the same rights to the use of transfers as are accorded to passengers paying higher fares. The operators shall give no passes or free service to any person, except to those engaged in the maintenance and operation of its business. .gal Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
