SECTION 1: That Section 11 of Ordinance No. 1296, passed
and approved the 22nd day of January, 1940, be, and the same is
hereby, amended so as to include as part of the Parking Meter
Zone the following additional territory, to-wit :
Travis Street between 9th and loth Streets, and Travis
Street between 10th and llth Streets, loth Street between
Lamar and Travis Streets, llth Street between Lamar and Travis
Streets.
The fact that there is a great shortage of parking space
within the City of lPiichita Falls , Texas, and the fact that cars
parked in the above described area the entire day without moving
creates a hazard and congestion in the parkin,- area of said City,
and endangers life and property in a manner that creates an
emerr-ency, and this Ordinance shall take effect on and after
its passage and publication, and it is so ordered.
