Dear Sir:
J. R. RAY BERRY BROWN B. C. HUNTER
I strongly recommend that an ordinance be
passed creating a fire lane on the East side of Van
Buren Street between the intersection of Van Buren
and Ninth and the alley between Ninth and Tenth on
Van Buren.
This half block is a very potential fire
hazard and dangerous to the adjoining property, as
well as to the lives of the Fire Department^ and
civilian motorists.

city i anager,
The city of 11': ichita Falls,
city.
Dear Sir;
Reference is made to the present congestion
of traffic in the vicinity of our store.
Under existing regulations and practices, it is
almost impossible to proceed on Van Buren street between
Ninth and Tenth ap busy hours of the day. Some cars park
parallel, some lark on the west side of Van wren bwhich
mak-
ing a left turn into the curb, thereby taking space
could be used by two other cars. tome park on the East side
of Van Buren making it iml::ossible at times for property
owners to have access to their- garage.
It would be our suggestion that the roast side of
Van Buren from the alley to Ninth be declared a fire lane
with no parking permitted at any time. .'e suggest further
that diagonal parking lanes be marked on the pavement on
the %d,est side of Van Buren and on Ninth street in front
of our store building. Signs should also be posted forbid-
ding the making of 1L,ft hand turns into parking lanes.
will appreciate any consideration which may be
given these suggestions .
Yours very truly,
