Honorable Harold Jones, Mayor
Iffichita Falls,
Texas.
Dear Sir:
We, the business tenants of the ','hest side of Lamar Street, between llth and-12th Streets, respectfully request that
Parking meters be installed on our side of this block and
that a representative of the City contact us in reUard to
some of us obtaining space in front of our establishments
for the following reasons.
Our customers are unable to park within a block of our stores.,
because people who work uptown park their cars in this block and
leave them all day.
Lamar Street is fast becoming one of the busiest streets in
our City and we feed, the congestion in this block is caused by
cars not being parked parallel to the curb.
bus patrons boardinn `Lhis will also help
b in front of Maskat Temple and help avoid
accidents.
Any consideration given this request will be hi hly appreciated.
