BE IT ORDAI='ED BY T_T'E BOARD OF ALDER L�i'N OF T u CITY OF 'WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS: SECTION 1. The alleysbetween Scott Avenue and Indiana Avenue from Sixth Street to Eleventh Street, inclusive, are hereby declared to be one-way alleys and all vehicles entering any of such alleys shall enter from the North entrance of same and shall move and proceed only in a Southerly direction therein. SECTION 2. The alleys between Scott Avenue and Lamar Avenue from Sixth Street to Eleventh Street, inclusive, are hereby declared. to be one-way alleys and all vehicles entering any of such alleys shall enter from the South entrance of same and shall move and proceed only in a Northerly direction therein. SF"T'ON 3. No vehicle shall be parked in any of such alleys in such a manner as to obstruct the regular movement of traffic therein and in cases where it is necessary for a parked vehicle to be moved in order for the convenient loading or unloading of another vehicle, such parked vehicle shall be moved immediately, unless the person in charge of such parked vehicle is actually engaged in loading or unloading such parked vehicle; but if such loading or unloading is temporarily interrupted for any reason said parked vehicle shall yield to the iDerson seeking to r)ark and load or unload his vehicle. __ SE'.;i'ION 4. The Chief of Police shall cause to be placed at appropriate points of street and alley intersections proper signs showing and indicating the direction traffic may move and at points of intersection of streets and alleys where entrance of vehicles is prophibited the chief of police shall place appropriate signs showing same. S.',CTi0a,1 5. A person violating any part of this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be punished by a fine of not more than „200. 00. SECTION 6. If the person in charge of a parked vehicle cannot be found by the use of a reasonable effort or if said person shall refuse to move said parked vehicle under the conditions set out in Section 3 hereof the -police department is hereby authorized to move sage at the expense of the owner of such vehicle. Because traff ice is becoming congested in the above named alleys and because there is no legal mean_ of correcting same creates an energy-ency and the rule requirein.J the reading or ord- inances on three separate days is hereby suspended and this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage, aporoval and Publication as required by law.
