Ordinance No. 45-2015
Ordinance making an appropriation to the Special Revenue Fund for
the Texas Healthy Communities Program in the amount of $50,000
received from the Department of State Health Services and
authorizing the City Manager to execute contract accepting same
WHEREAS, the Health District and the Department of State Health Services
desire to enter into a contract for continued health and wellness activities; and,
WHEREAS, approval of these funds could not have be en anticipated prior to the
adoption of the 2014 - 2015 budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
There is hereby appropriated in the Special Revenue Fund $50,000 for the
Tuberculosis Program and the City Manager is author ized to enter into a contract with
the Department of State Health Services for the Wichita Falls-Wichita County Public
Health District.
