ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, MAKING APPROPRIATION IN THE AMOUNT OF
$18,256 TO THE SPECIAL REVENUE FUND FOR ADDITIONAL RYAN
WHITE TITLE III GRANT REVENUE FROM TARRANT COUNTY AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AMENDED
CONTRACT ACCEPTING SAME; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT
THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS
OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the previous Ryan White Title III grant award from Tarrant County
represented only 75% of the total funding award for FY 2003; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has now received approval for the
additional 25% of the FY 2003 grant revenue from Tarrant County; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls wishes to execute a contract amendment
with Tarrant County on behalf of the Wichita Falls- Wichita County Public Health District
accepting the additional revenue; and,
WHEREAS, the approval of these funds could not have been anticipated prior to
adoption of the FY 2002 -2003 Budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated in the Special Revenue Fund the sum
of $18,256 for the Ryan White Title III grant.
SECTION 2.. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
