ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, OVERTURNING THE PLANNING AND ZONING
COMMISSION'S DENIAL OF CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT CASE
NUMBER C 03 -19, AND APPROVING THE CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT
WITH THE CONDITION THAT THE FRONT OF THE MANUFACTURED
HOME FACE HUNTINGTON LANE; FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED
WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission denied a request for a
conditional use permit to place a manufactured home at 4501 Huntington Lane on
April 9, 2003; and,
WHEREAS, the applicant has appealed this decision to the City Council; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed case # C 03 -19, a request for a
conditional use permit to locate a new manufactured home at 4501 Huntington Lane;
and,
WHEREAS, upon the review of Conditional Use Permit # C 03 -19, the City
Council deems it in the public's interest to grant approval of the conditional use permit,
with the condition that the front of the manufactured home face Huntington Lane.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Conditional Use Permit # CO3 -19, denied by the Planning and
Zoning Commission on April 9, 2003, is hereby approved with the condition that the
manufactured home face Huntington Lane.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
